Types of High Schools
- Public Schools: a school administered by a government agency and funded by taxes
- district schools; charter schools; Horace Mann schools; pilot schools; innovation schools; in-district charter schools; traditional public schools; turn-around schools; etc.
- Private Schools: non-governmental or independent schools
- Parochial Schools: private schools “affiliated with a religious organization and whose curriculum includes general religious education” in addition to the standard subjects (Math, ELA, etc.)
