As a student in the Boston Public Schools district, grade 8 students who do not get involved with the transition decisions will be assigned to a high school in the system by a computer and default.  Rather than leaving this important decision to a computer, we help 8th grade students learn about many of the options available to them.   We cannot achieve our goals alone.
